EOI: Wetlands of the Bellarine artistic submissions

Closing date for entries: Friday 23rd August 2024

Wetlands are a critical part of our natural environment. They protect our shores from wave action, reduce the impacts of floods, absorb pollutants and improve water quality. Our local Ramsar listed wetlands are recognised as internationally significant and provide habitat for a diversity of plants and animals, including almost 30 species of migratory birds.

Both the wetlands, and your representations of them, will be opening people’s hearts and minds from the 11th September to the 7th October 2024, at Artisans Gallery in Curlewis. Working alongside the Bellarine Landcare Group and the Bellarine Catchment Network we are excited to host four weeks of art and craft to celebrate the Wetlands of the Bellarine Peninsula.

We are calling now for Expressions of Interest from artists and artisans who would like to take part.

Please read Wetlands of the Bellarine PDF for all details, dates and application form.
