‘Recreating the Country’ at Tuckerberry Hill

Thank-you everyone who joined us to launch Steve Murphy’s new edition of ‘Recreating the Country’ at Tuckerberry Hill. What a multifaceted extravaganza! Bellarine Secondary College drama students transformed into native animals, looked over by the guiding Spirit of the Bellarine, in a play written by Steve.

Thank you Bellarine Secondary College for skilled performances revealing the personalities of these beloved creatures!

Inspirational drone footage by Lachie Forbes took us above a 3.2ha revegetation site at Marcus Hill Vineyard planted by Margot and Chip Harrison 14 years ago. Once a bare paddock, this patch of bush is now filled with birdlife.

We’re thrilled to support Steve Murphy in the launch of this bible ‘Recreating the Country. Ten Key Principles for designing Sustainable Landscapes’ and enthusiastically endorse it to anyone with an interest in land restoration. Order online through Recreating the Country website.

Thanks, Chris and David Lean for accommodating us Tuckerberry Hill, Berry farm, Cafe and local produce market Marcus Hill Vineyard for your generous donation of fine wine, and everyone else who contributed towards an uplifting event.
