In this workshop Jade Killoran will discuss multispecies pastures,

  • how to establish and manage them,

  • their benefits for soil & stock production,

  • how they can contribute to building carbon in your soil and increasing farm productivity and resilience.

We’ll join a local farmer to walk through his multispecies pasture, he’ll share his approach & we’ll check out what’s happening below the ground in his pasture. Morning tea & lunch provided.

Jade (B.Ag Hons) is an independent multispecies forage/cover crop consultant & researcher, working with Victorian farmers through her consultancy ‘Healthy Farming Systems’ where she’s passionate about helping farmers trial, adopt, & manage multispecies cover crops.
